3. What do you enjoy about working at Scott and Company?
I enjoy the flexibility we have to get our work done in the way that works best for each of us. It allows me to be present for my family when I need to be.
4. Background and current responsibilities
I've been with Scott and Company since I started as an audit staff member, and I'm now a director in our audit and assurance practice. Over the years, I've served clients across a variety of industries, and I also manage scheduling for the audit and assurance team.
5. What do you enjoy most about living in Columbia?
Because Columbia is a college town and close to Fort Jackson, the community can be fairly transient, but that means our family often meets people new to the city, which is neat. I also like that it's in the middle of the state, so we can get to most of our vacation spots or visit family and friends in a reasonable amount of time, no matter which direction we're headed.
6. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Definitely teleportation! No traffic, no worrying about forgetting something I need, and I could be at the beach in an instant.
7. What interesting fact would you most like readers to know about you?
I have three black cats at home that I love, and I wish I could adopt even more, since black cats are often the last to be adopted from shelters.
