Employee Spotlight: Caroline McCutchen | Scott & Company | Accounting

1. Where did you attend college?

Presbyterian College - Undergrad
Clemson University - Grad School

2. You joined Scott and Company in October 2024. With all the accounting firms out there, why did you choose Scott and Company?

I loved the warm and welcoming environment.

3. What is your work experience and current responsibilities at the firm?

I was previously employed at Elliott Davis in Greenville for a year. Now, I am a staff accountant in Scott and Company’s Tax and Advisory practice.

5. What do you enjoy most about living in Columbia?

I grew up about an hour from Columbia, so I love being closer to my family. I also now live beside my older sister, so I love being able to spend more time with her.

6. If you had unlimited resources, where would you plan to take your next vacation and why?

I would love to go to Bora Bora and stay in one of the bungalows over the water. I love to travel and the beach!

7. What interesting fact would you most like your readers to know about you?

I want to travel to all 50 states, and I am about halfway there. I have collected a postcard from almost every place I have visited.
